SAVE ME, OH BRAVE PROTECTOR
THE ARMED GUARDS:
Lt. Elliott Jacobs: Missy Peregrym from the short-lived Life As We Know It and Stick It. She's a much better fit than Amber Tamblyn, I must say. She just looks a lot tougher, like what Lee is truly supposed to be. And look at these shoulders. But when she smiles ... you just want to squeeze her cheeks. She's gorgeous, she's tough, therefore she's perfect.
Cdt. Harriet Spencer: Kaley Cuoco from 8 Simple Rules. She just has this blonde, bright spark that I always imagine Hattie to have. She just seemed right for the role.
Cpt. Jonas Kew: I’ve chosen Matt Damon for the character of the hard-ass Captain who’s one of the best of the best. Matt already has that stony, tough, emotionless exterior—you can see it in the photo, where he’s in combat uniform—just like Kew. Plus, to see Matt in a fighting scenario, he doesn’t look out of place, does he? And, the combat uniform suits him just fine. It doesn't hinder the character in the fact that I find Matt Damon drool-worthy.
Cpt. Jennifer Harris: Jessica Biel already has the fighting chick thing down to pat—playing Abby the Nightstalker in Blade Trinity, and also a fighter pilot in Stealth. The picture of her is her in Stealth—she looks good in a uniform, and she’s not smiling, which is how Harris is supposed to be.
THE JACOBS FAMILY:
Rachel Jacobs: The actress I chose or the role of Ray is an Australian actress, which may be one of the reasons why you don’t recognise her. Her name is Kate Bell, and she plays the role of Bec in this ABC show called Blue Water High. The colouring is just right (that’s perhaps ‘cause I kind of Photo-shopped the eyes—go me), and Kate’s character in BWH outgoing, noisy, and very carefree. She’s intelligent, and knows her own way—just like Ray.
Javier Jacobs: Here’s another Australian actor you mightn’t have heard of. He also stars in Blue Water High, but as Matt. The actor’s name is Chris Foy, and he’s perfect for the role of Avery. Avery has blonde hair and green eyes—just like Chris here has. And it’s good, because Chris plays the drums, which Avery also does. He’s witty and intelligent—just like Avery, and he’s quite cute. Chris has this nerdish, dorky, quirky charm that you can’t ignore. And that’s what Avery’s supposed to have, too.
THE ROYAL HOUSE OF MONTAGÉ (from oldest to youngest):
Princess Jasmine Sara: After much thought, the role of Jas will be bestowed upon the absolutely adorable actress Lauren Graham, who plays Rory's mum in Gilmore Girls. It doesn't matter that Jas is 25 whilst Lauren Graham is about a decade older, but she's got the spirit that Jas is supposed to have. She's also very sarcastic at most times like Jas, and the colouring is almost right. Jasmine is drop-dead gorgeous like all of the Royal children, and in this picture, you don't see Lauren out of place with a tiara on her delicate head.
Prince Jasper Kinsley: I'd always thought that my macabre interest with shows in which dead bodies frequent the screens would pay off. So, Jasper personified Eddie Cahill, from CSI: NY. He just has that whole protective air about him, and his colouring is exactly perfect. Plus, he has the tenacity that Jasper is deemed to have. It also doesn't hurt that Eddie Cahill is extremely handsome, just like all of the Royal Children.
Prince Matthew James: It took me quite a while to figure out which actor Matthew would be best with, but in the end, I settled on Jesse Spencer, the Australian actor who’s kept his accent on House M. D. He’s got class, and he’s supposed to be rich in House, which I guess helps. He has that ‘I’m-smart-but-I’m-worried’ thing going on. He’s intelligent and good looking—plus, he’s wearing a suit. Which helps too.
Princess Catherine Anne: The actress I’ve chosen for the role of this Royal is Mena Suvari. She’s very beautiful, and in the photo, she’s got the colouring of Catherine exactly perfect. She even has the wavy-hair-thing going on. Catherine’s not your average girly-girl, but when she dresses up, she’s stunning.
Prince Nicholas Ryan Fredrik the Third: If anybody ever watched that wonderful show Jack & Bobby by the same people who produced Everwood, then you know who I'm talking about when I say Matt Long. He has one of the kindest faces I've seen in a while, but he also has this imperial sort of air about him. His eyes aren't exactly blue, like Ryan's (they're green - as in this picture), but if you take a look at the first photo of him, he has this pensive, worried feel about him. Ryan isn't supposed to be a worry-wart of sorts, but he still has his moments.
Princess Sophia Lorelai: The little actress here is Taylor Momsen, who played the President’s daughter in Spy Kids 2. She has that adorable smile already, and even though Sophia’s hair is supposed to be very red, this one here’s close enough.
